Cleaning Supervisor

Alsco Fresh & Clean is a multi-national company with a well-recognized brand profile. Our business includes managed first response rental services, managed washroom services, specialist cleaning, supplies, and consumables. We are seeking a reliable and customer focused On-Site Cleaning Supervisor to join our dedicated team in Auckland CBD.

Position Details:

  • 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday
  • Salary circa 70k per annum
  • Company carpark provided - no parking expenses in Auckland CBD!

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of 10 professional washroom cleaners at our high-value client's site.
  • Ensure 100% completion of the cleaning schedule daily.
  • Ensure all customer work orders are actioned and closed off within specified timeframes.
  • Conduct regular quality assurance audits, provide specific feedback to staff and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly for any failed items.
  • Provide training for new team members and hold regular refresher training sessions for all staff.
  • Hold weekly team meetings with all staff, submit meeting minutes to management, and ensure actionable items are completed promptly.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes of cleaner supply cupboards, place stock orders, and ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained.
  • Ensure staff have all the necessary equipment to perform their role and ensure that all equipment is maintained to high standards.
  • Report and investigate work accidents and near misses.
  • Lead from the front by assisting the team with cleaning when staff are absent.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in all company documentation and reporting.
  • Uphold professional personal appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Instil a proactive safety environment and adhere to all Health and Safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment medical exam, including drug and alcohol screening.
