We operate industrial processing laundry plants across New Zealand and are looking for a highly skilled individual to lead our Engineering Maintenance team. About the Role:

As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee a small, skilled team, ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment. While you will have significant management responsibilities, this role also requires hands-on involvement to resolve issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering maintenance operations
• Oversee and improve preventative maintenance programs
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with production plant equipment
• Supervise and guide a dedicated maintenance team
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering systems and processes

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in Engineering Management
• Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Expertise in preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Solid understanding of steam operations
• Proficient in computer systems and maintenance software
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong focus on problem-solving
