Your role:

As a successful candidate, you'll leverage your extensive experience in mechanical engineering and demonstrate strong people management skills. You'll oversee proactive preventative maintenance programs, troubleshoot equipment issues effectively, and ensure the smooth operation of our steam and boiler systems. Your commitment to upholding health and safety standards, coupled with excellent communication and basic computer skills, will foster seamless collaboration with our production teams and exceed customer expectations.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • Trade Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Fitter, including experience in using preventative maintenance systems.
  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Certificate of Achievement in Confined Space & Gas Detection
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platform and Mobile boom lift License
  • NZ Certificate in Boiler Operation Level 3, preferable but not mandatory
  • Fork lift License, preferable but not mandatory.
  • Welding ability with Arc, Mig and Brazing preferable.
