Event Coordinator
Based at the ASB Arena, we have a fantastic opportunity for an organised, energetic and enthusiastic individual to showcase their skills in event delivery. As Event Coordinator, you will primarily be responsible for supporting the Event Operations Manager in coordinating all aspects of event operations including venue layout, food, beverage, audio visual and IT requirements.
You will have 2-3 years' industry experience, demonstrate a high level of planning and organisation skills, and be an effective communicator. You will be known for your attention to detail, being able to deliver on time, and your absolute passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role will see you delivering a diverse range of events from small meetings, conferences, weddings, speedway, gala dinners for 1500 people and concerts for up to 25,000 people! This is the best events role in the Bay of Plenty!
As with any events role, flexibility with working hours is essential, as this is determined by business demands and event day operations. Previous experience using Ungerboek Event Management System would be advantageous.
